You simply need to come back to "create disc" and add the output that was generated beforehand, check all is well, and burn this time to dvd. The next window is broken into 3 pane's, the one in the middle. now we have playback preview window (if something isnt right, go back and fix first). So create your project the way you want it. then burn the output folder content to dvd. I'll get my tool's to dig through and see where the message come's from later. it's complaining that "a process" is not able to keep up with the current request. Tip : Refrain from inserting Project files onto the Timeline in Create Disc. Open the Project Settings dialog box and select Do not convert compliant MPEG files then click OK.
After creating the file, create a new project and go to Share > Create Disc then insert the newly saved video file. Q: After successfully burning discs for a number of times, I get one of the following messages now when I try to burn: "Report ID 0x800411da (4570)" or, more frequently, "Convert step got some problems (4101)." What should I do?Ī: Instead of burning the project directly to disc, create a DVD compliant video file first and save it on your hard drive. This is a very simple process and I guess one you need to learn to do, so nothing will be lost by your attempts except maybe the fear of the unknown. There are several different ways to do this. If this were to fail then simply create a new project that contains only your new AVI format file and try to encode that to MPEG-2. At your point in your life these settings are fine. Ulead's DVD template will give a default value of 8.0Mbps bitrate 720x480/576 MPEG-2 file with LPCM audio. That would be the one labeled "NTSC DVD 4:3" for me here in the USA, for PAL it would be PAL DVD 4:3 I suppose. This time in the SHARE tab - CREATE VIDEO FILE - you would choose a DVD template and create the MPEG-2 DVD file.
Once you are satified that the AVI file is ok then ULEAD might be able to do the conversion to MPEG-2. To test this simply play your AVI file and see if it plays correctly and looks right. If Ulead is able to create the video file from your collection of slideshow components then step one is a success. With either one you will loose no quality since they are both looseless. Using Huffyuv the filesize to expect will be about 400MB per minute or running time, or about 1/3 the space required by uncompressed.
If disk space is short then download and install Huffyuv codec, use the OPTIONS button and set the compression to HUFFYUV. Using uncompressed format with a 720x480/576 framesize and PCM audio the filesize will be around 1.3GB per minute of running time. If it does not say the above setting then click on the "OPTION" button, go through the tabs and make it so. Then read the information in the SAVE OPTIONS area.Ģ4 bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps (PAL=720x576, 25fps) Now open the "SAVE AS TYPE" drop-down list box and choose "MICROSOFT AVI files". At the top choose a folder, then enter your desired filename. Now you are looking at the CREATE FILE BOX. You load your slideshow project into Ulead VideoStudio and you look up and see you are working in the EDIT tab. I don't have v9 so the wording might be a little different.
